Saliva drug test, Marijuana drug test, Drug testing kits, Alcohol testing

Drug testing serves two purposes: it allows interested and legally allowed parties to perform tests on certain people who might have used drug of abuse, and it allows those under suspicion to clear their names.

Over the years reliable products have been developed allowing testing for drugs of abuse in a confidential, reliable, quick and efficient way under the protection of one's home.

Home drug test kits are intended for use, for example, by parents to unobtrusively detect whether their children use drugs. The testing may involve hair analysis to detect the presence of drugs. Sometimes, the testing requires that the "suspect" provide a urine sample. In any case, the use of such tests should be properly evaluated and warranted.

Why Home Drug Testing Can Be Important

With all of the advances in medicine that have been made over the last several decades, it should be no surprise that medical tests and testing have come a long way too. It used to be that basically the only type of medical test that was ever performed at home was the act of taking your temperature. Next to come was the ability of diabetics to test their blood sugar levels from home and now, it is possible to administer drug tests and even HIV tests from the privacy and comfort of your own home. Although some people have doubts about the value and validity of the results that are received from home drug testing, there is legitimate value to performing these tests at home.

We live in an increasingly dangerous world. Children are growing up more quickly than ever before and they are exposed to dangers that we never would have conceived of when we were kids at ages that are terrifying for parents to contemplate. There are children as young as elementary school age that are smoking, drinking and experimenting with drugs. Having the ability to do medical tests such as drug tests, can help give parents the peace of mind that they need and want in reference to whether or not their children are using drugs. As much as we as parents would like to believe that we could "sense" or "tell" if our kids were on drugs, the fact is that much of the time, you simply can't.

There are those that contend that home drug testing gives parents too much leeway to violate their children's privacy without ever actually starting a dialogue with them. The truth is that, though it would be wonderful to think that your children will tell you everything, and answer your questions truthfully, the odds are that, if they are using drugs, they won't. Knowing that you have medical tests that you can fall back on, to confirm or deny your suspicions can't help parents sleep a little easier.

Having home medical tests may also be a deterrent for children against using drugs in the first place. If children know that their parents have the tools and technology to test then for drug use on the spot, they may be less willing to experiment, for fear of being found out. If it stops them from using, do you really care what the motivation is?

  • Explosives Detection Forensics Kits — Police, special forces teams, members of the military, commercial security guards and border patrol agents all rely on the availability of explosives detection forensics kits. Since each of those groups operates on a budget, they appreciate to low cost of the E.L.I.T.E. kit. Indeed, the expense of a kit is one of the four characteristics that helps to determine its suitability for any series of detection tasks.
  • Surface Drug Test Kits. Forensic tests — Employers frequently schedule a time when they can test their employees for evidence of drug use. Yet smart employers do not stop with the testing of workers, they also test the various surfaces in certain areas of the workplace.
  • Medical Drug Tests — Unlike the on site drug test scheduled by employers, a medical drug test can be proceed at a location apart from the workplace. Yet like the onsite tests, the medical drug tests rely on the chemistry of the tested substance, the technology of the testing process and the protocol followed by the tester. At the same time, such tests can fall prey to the presence of certain uncontrolled variables.
  • Drug Testing — Those substances that allow the body to experience an added sense of pleasure tend to diminish the adequacy of simple chores, such as recalling information and concentrating on the task at hand. Aware of that fact, employers frequently ask their employees to undergo some form of drug testing.
